Your Letters: Save time: register to vote by Oct. 12
Approximately 10-20 percent of all Minnesota voters register on election day.
After sitting at the registration table on primary election day, I'm prompted to say to those of you who have recently changed your name or address or haven't voted in four years: please go to the auditor's office in the courthouse and register to vote before Oct. 12, then your name will be in the roster book on Nov. 2 -- general election day.
To register means filling out an application providing identification with your address, date of birth, etc.
To do this at the courthouse will be much quicker than standing in line on election day.
See you all at the polls!
