In 2010 we had 1,758 individual visits. We distributed 131,253 pounds of food for an average of 18.4 pounds per person. Here are some other facts you may like to know:

• All funding is from donations

• All staff are volunteers - none of your money is spent on wages

• We accept food and monetary donations

• We do not distribute food that has expired

• We keep very specific records for FEMA, which are available to you upon request

• Our families or individuals must have an address of Wadena, Deer Creek, Verndale, Aldrich or Bluffton

Volunteers will be at the Food Shelf on Saturday, April 2 and Sunday, April 3 from noon to 2 p.m. to accept donations. Donations in the form of checks can be sent to Project Share of Wadena, P.O. Box 383, Wadena, MN 56482.
