On Sunday, Jan. 16, Ellie Miron of Wadena received the Lillian Wright Award for creative writing in the category of Best Writing, Grades 1-3 (in the state of Minnesota) for "Chumley the Show Dog," which she wrote in third grade during a visit from an author residency program. Her work was published in "To Capture the World."
