Wolverines struggle at Sauk Centre Quadrangular
Neil Koehler's Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines took it on the chin three times Monday in the Sauk Centre Tennis Quadrangular.
The Wolverines, who were missing several key players, lost a 7-0 decision to a strong Benson club in the opening round and then lost 7-0 to Sauk Centre. They lost a 6-1 decision to Parkers Prairie in the third round. Koehler switched Sam Holweger from doubles to singles against Parkers where she defeated Jakki Sjobeck 6-1, 6-0.
