A different Wadena-Deer Creek team skated out on the ice to start the second period Tuesday night.

It was not the team that was blown off the ice 5-1 in the first period.

Seven second-period goals and four more in the third carried Chris Holman's Wolverines to a 12-8 victory in their regular season finale with Morris-Benson. Coming back from a five-goal deficit had never been done in the history of the program.
