The Wolverines will take a 29-5 record into their 11 a.m. match today with Bryon, 27-6, at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
Crawford and Noon were set up for their double figure kills by strong back row play. Hope Theisen had 15 digs while Avergy Jackson and Mandy Perkins had 11. Noon and Courtney Volkmann both contributed nine digs.
Volkmann was the assist leader with 26.
The victory helped Sue Volkmann's young team realize their goal of posting a match victory in the state tournament. The Wolverines lost to top-ranked Marshall Thursday in the state quarterfinals.
