Wolverines hang 40-21 loss on Detroit Lakes
The Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines climbed above the .500 mark in the Mid-State Conference Tuesday night by upsetting Detroit Lakes 40-21 on the WDC hardcourt.
The Wolverines found themselves on top at the half by an 8-7 margin. They showed more spark in the second half out-pointing the Lakers 32-14.
"The girls had something to prove in the second half," Ferris said.
The Wolverines became the first team this season to hold the Lakers to less than 35 points.
