Wind-swept links cause trouble for Wolverines
A huge spring wind pushed four of Wadena-Deer Creek's five golfers over the century mark Friday in the Bemidji Invitational.
Kayla Krause brought in the only double figure score for the Wolverines when she shot a 95 over the 18-hole Town and County course. Krause was 14 strokes off the pace set by Roseau medalist Emily Hallie.
Breanna Speed posted a 112 round for the Wolverines while Amanda Kramer shot a 115, Kelsey Browne shot a 120 and Heather Theisen carded a 123.
