Weil to perform at Assembly of God
Sunday, June 20, at 10 a.m. Aaron Michael Weil will perform a special Father's Day concert for the whole family at the Assembly of God church in Wadena. Weil has been touring across the nation performing in churches and concert halls for the last 16 years. He has had the privilege of playing at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn., where he performed an opening concert for Ricky Skaggs. He has also performed with some of the biggest names in music today, including The Sons of the Pioneers and Mark Harris (formerly of the contemporary Christian group, 4HIM).
Weil is from a musical family who went on the road in musical ministry in 1995. Originally he played the mandolin and sang lead and harmony vocals for The Weil Family Band as they were known. By 2000, the older siblings had married and left home. Though it may have seemed a logical time for the music ministry to end, the Lord led differently. Aaron had become quiet a proficient lead guitarist. The name of the group was changed to The Aaron Weil Band, for obvious reasons. Weil continued to travel with his parents for the next five years. In 2006, when Weil moved to Minnesota, he started performing solo concerts in many local churches. From that point on, Weil's music ministry has continued to grow and is still growing today. Starting in the summer of 2009, Weil began touring on the road with his music ministry all across the U.S.
Everyone is welcome.
