Weather service says 1-3 inches possible Friday. Yes, of snow.
Winter weather may make an unwelcome return Friday, as the National Weather Service in Grand Forks is predicting the possibility of 1-3 inches of snow.
The NWS said after 1 a.m. Friday, rain in amounts between a tenth and a quarter of an inch could fall. Rain and snow could start the day Friday morning, turning to all snow after 1 p.m., with new snow accumulation of 1-3 inches.
More snow could come Friday night, though the NWS said that would likely amount to less than a half inch of the white stuff.
The wind could reach gusts of 18 mph to accompany Friday afternoon's storm.
