Wadena-Deer Creek's Michael Wing shot an 82 Monday for sixth place honors in the Mid-Minnesota Championship at The Legacy.

Pequot Lakes' Levi Espeland came up with a 74 to shade Staples-Motley's Nick Forsberg by a single stroke for top honors.

Bryan Silvers shot an 85 for the Wolverines while Tyler Fix and Nick LeTourneau shot 88s, Duke Harrison brought in a 101 and Jacob Goeden recorded a 111.

Staples-Motley won team honors with a 399. WDC was third with a 444.

Fix sparks Wolverines

with 87

Tyler Fix brought in a team-low 87 Saturday as the Wadena-Dee Creek Wolverines placed fourth in the rainy WDC Co-ed Invitational at Whitetail Run.

Michael Wing shot a 91 for the Wolverines while Bryan Silvers and Duke Harrison both fired a 93. Jacob Goeden posted a 94.

Staples-Motley's Zach Israelson captured medalist honors with a 75.

Grand Rapids was a 10-stroke winner over second place Staples-Motley in the six-team invitational with a 314. The Wolverines shot a team round of 364.
