Jordan Reed had the hot shooting touch Friday and the big center racked up 32 points and hauled down 17 rebounds in leading his WDC team past the Rangers in a Mid-State cage duel.

Seven of Reed's rebounds were on the offensive end of the court.

"Jordan Reed played big, he dominated the paint," WDC head coach Tom VanErp said. "I think he scored on every one of his offensive rebounds. That was huge considering we did not shoot well from the perimeter."

VanErp also praised the play of Scott Fillhouer and Ryan Redfield. Fillhouer grabbed nine rebounds, dished out five assists and stole the ball three times. Redfield scored all seven of his points in the last seven minutes of the game.

Caleb Baker pumped in 19 points for the Rangers. Michael Hoge and Dan Hudrlik combined for 22 points.
