WDC golfers place seventh at Headwaters
Ella Harrison and Paige Hartman led the way Monday as the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines placed seventh in the Park Rapids Invitational at Headwaters Golf Course.
Harrison came in with a 91 while Hartman was one stroke off her pace with a 92. Heather Theisen and Breanna Speed also shot in the 90s with identical 97 rounds. Amanda Kramer and Hope Theisen shot 103 and 110 respectively.
The Wolverines carded a team round of 377, 66 strokes off the winning pace set by Detroit Lakes.
Detroit Lakes' Kate Smith led all golfers with a medalist round of 72.

Theisen, Hartman tie at Bemidji invitational
Heather Theisen and Paige Hartman both fired 94 rounds for WDC Friday in the Bemidji Invitational.
Amanda Kramer and Hope Theisen both shot 105 for the Wolverines and Gabi Ross had a 112.
The Detroit Lakes Lakers won the tournament with a team round of 318. The Wolverines finished 10th in the 15-team scoring field with a 397.
Earning medalist honors with a 76 was Detroit Lakes' Trisha Hutchinson.
