WDC and Sebeka split twin bill
A terrific fifth inning kick propelled the Wadena-Deer Creek Legion team to a 10-4 victory over Sebeka Monday night and gave Kyle Dykhoff's club a doubleheader split.
Sebeka claimed the opener 6-3 as Paul Funk went the distance on the mound. Funk, one of three Sebeka High School players to earn All-State Tournament honors in the recent Class A state championship playoffs, allowed 10 hits but walked only one while fanning four.

Funk joined Brenan Brockpahler and Brandon Mickelson in collecting two hits. All three players had one RBI.
