Wadena Beyond the Yellow Ribbon community luncheon to be held April 28

Veterans of all services and interested supporters of veterans and their families are invited to Wadena Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Community Luncheon on April 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the M State cafeteria. A Yellow Ribbon Community unites a community to create a network that connects resources and employers for the purpose of supporting service members and military families. Representatives from government and Veterans Services will be available to share current information with veterans and their families. Soldiers from the Wadena Army National Guard will have a display of current personnel equipment used by the National Guard. If you are interested in volunteering time or services to help military families, stop in and sign up on a volunteer list or visit www.btyr.org and check out the Military Family Care Initiative link. This is a program designed to help Yellow Ribbon Communities gather volunteers and put them to use where they fit best.
