Wadena artist Brad Wegscheid displaying artwork at TCH
Wadena artist Brad Wegscheid is exhibiting his artwork in the Courtyard at Tri-County Hospital in Wadena as part of the hospital's Healing Arts program.
An artist's reception will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, June 7, in the courtyard on the lower level of the hospital. Refreshments will be served and the public is invited to attend.
Wegscheid has been making art most of his life. Even as a child he was constantly drawing pictures for family. Wegscheid graduated high school from the Perpich Center for Arts Education in Golden Valley, Minn. As a proud member of the Beta class, he was one of the first lucky students to enjoy the intensive arts curriculum offered. After high school, Wegscheid went on to receive a bachelor's degree in graphic communication from Northern Michigan University.
Wegscheid lives in Wadena and is making the move from commercial art to fine art. At the beginning of this transition, Wegscheid has focused mostly on photography and illustrations in ink.
