Viking player featured at Men's Breakfast Oct. 23
The Men's Department of Wadena Assembly of God invites all men to a Men's Breakfast at 419 1st St. (just West of Tri-County Hospital) at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 23. This breakfast will be catered by The Uptown Café and will feature former Minnesota Viking Defensive End Joe Jackson as a special guest.
Jackson played with Carl Eller and Alan Page of the Purple People Eaters era after he was drafted and played for the New York Jets. Joe was a pre-season college All American, All Rocky Mountain Conference, and finished second in quarterback sacks his rookie year in the NFL. Today Jackson serves as pro director of Athletes International and Church Evangelist of Phoenix First Assembly.
Jackson is an inspirational speaker and gifted singer who especially loves to encourage and challenge men. This free event is being offered to all men around the Wadena Community by Wadena Assembly of God. To help in the planning, they do request that you pick up your free ticket from one of their men or from Bethany Book Store in Wadena so they know how much food to prepare. A free will offering will be received.
