Verndale board signs off on student trip to Europe
The Verndale School Board gave unanimous approval to a European trip in cooperation with the Eagle Valley school district in 2011.
Spanish teacher Marilyn Carver gave the board an outline of the trip, which is scheduled for March 10-21, and will visit Italy, Monaco, France, Belgium and the Netherlands. The total cost per student will be $2,852. The adult cost will be $3,277. The prices include airfare, train travel, hotel rooms and two meals per day.
The cost of the trip would be up to the parents and students making the trip. Students in grades 10-12 during the 2010-11 school year have priority.
