Local FSA offices are required to submit Damage Assessment Reports whenever a natural disaster occurs. Reports documenting damages have been submitted and a disaster declaration is expected. Low interest rate disaster loans would be available for farmers suffering a loss from the disaster after the disaster declaration is received.
