Trojans top Pirates to remain undefeated

Alicia Boe poured in 24 points as the Sebeka Trojans roughed up the Verndale Pirates 82-49 Tuesday night in Park Region Conference action at Sebeka.

Jessica Lillquist was also on target for the Trojans with 19 tallies. Jasmine Titcomb tacked up 15 points. The Trojans shot a red-hot 56 percent from the field.

Teresa Moenkedick and Kirstin Korfe paced the Pirates with 15 and 14 points respectively. The Pirates shot 45 percent from the floor.

The loss dropped the Pirates to 5-6 in conference play and 9-13 overall. The Trojans improved to 19-4 overall and 11-0 in the PRC.

Eight players contributed to the scoring Friday night as the Arrows squeaked past the Pirates at Ashby.

Cassandra Jordan was Ashby's only double figure shooter with 13 tallies.

Teresa Moenkedick and Jordyn Glenz carried the scoring load for Verndale with 14 and 13 points respectively.
