Tri-County Health Care welcomes new physician assistant
Wadena Medical Center and Tri-County Health Care are pleased to welcome Tina Lorenzi, PA-C, as its newest physician assistant. She specializes in surgery and joined the Tri-County Health Care staff in March.
"I was immediately attracted to the 'hometown' feel of Tri-County Health Care," said Lorenzi. "It is obvious to me that the staff is committed and enthusiastic about providing the best care and overall patient experience to everyone they serve."
Lorenzi received her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. She completed a master's degree in 2007 from the Gunderson-Mayo P.A. Program, University of Wisconsin -- La Crosse -- Gundersen Lutheran -- Mayo.
Physician assistants evaluate, treat and manage a wide array of acute and chronic diseases and health conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, respiratory infections, and arthritis. Lorenzi previously specialized in urologic surgery with Essentia Health in Duluth.
Board certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), Lorenzi is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Minnesota Academy of Physician Assistants.
An active softball player for the past 18 years, she plans to join a team in the Wadena area. She also loves to read and travel.
