Tri-County Health Care kicks off Relay for Life 2010
For the fifth year in a row TCHC has formed a team for the Relay for Life. This year's theme is derived from the TCHC acronym - Triumph, Conquer, Hope and Courage. Many of the team members have personally been affected by someone close to them due to cancer and are committed to help raising funds for a cure. We look forward to another opportunity to better connect with the community through our fundraising efforts for this exceptional cause.
The TCHC team has many ways in which the community can support our Relay for Life efforts. Community members are encouraged to acknowledge a loved one of theirs on the TCHC Wall of Remembrance or Honor. A star honoring someone of your choosing can be purchased at the hospital's information desk for just $1. The stars will be put up on the hospital walls to show support for those honored or remembered.
Fundraising activities include a daily silent auction through July 30 in the courtyard (near the Courtyard Café in the lower level) and support pins that were created by our team are available for $3 at the nurses' station.
The Relay for Life is on Friday, Aug. 13 with opening ceremonies starting at 6:30 p.m. For questions or if you would like to volunteer, please contact TCHC Relay for Life Coordinators Pat Malvin at 631-3510 or Sharyl Rinkel at 632-8733.
