Tri-County Health Care hires new Chief Financial Officer

Tri-County Health Care (TCHC) is pleased to announce that Kim Aagard has accepted the position of Vice President of Finance/Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Tri-County Health Care.

Kim has been employed by TCHC since October of 1985 in various positions including senior accountant, materials management supervisor, accounts payable, credit/collections and registration. Kim will complete her bachelor's degree from North Dakota State University this July. For the last eight years, she has been the Finance Manager/Controller and she has been serving in the role of Interim CFO since June 2011.

As the Chief Financial Officer, Kim is a member of the administration team responsible for working with all aspects of the facilities' operations.

Tri-County is also pleased to announce that Debbie Sly has been promoted to the position of Controller. Debbie has been with Tri-County Health Care since June of 2007 as a senior accountant. She has been working as the Interim Controller since June 2011. Debbie is a certified public accountant (inactive) and received her bachelor's degree from the University of Northern Iowa and has health care experience with United Healthcare as a financial analyst prior to coming to Wadena.

"Their experience and ability to work as a great team is an asset to Tri-County Health Care and the communities we serve."

Kim, a Wadena High School graduate has been married to her husband, Thomas, for nearly 29 years. They have raised three children in the Wadena community and now have three grandchildren. In her free time, Kim enjoys quilting and playing with her grandchildren. Debbie has lived in Wadena for 20 years with her husband Tim, a physical therapist at TCHC. They have two daughters - Jessica a senior at Northwestern College, and Meghan a senior at Verndale High School. In her spare time, Debbie enjoys decorating, quilting, genealogy and reading.
