Nurseryman Mike Pete is sounding a warning for property owners in Wadena.

The younger trees that survived last summer's tornado and the younger ones that were planted to replace them are facing the potential for a lot of winter damage due to sun scald and wind burn. The reason for this, according to Pete, is that the tornado took down many older shade trees which shelter the younger trees.
