Toedter named Most Valuable Runner at Hamline
Former Wadena-Deer Creek cross country and track and field standout Hannah Toedter has capped her cross country career at Hamline University by being named the team's Most Valuable Runner.
Toedter, a state meet qualifier and six-year cross country letterwinner for the Wolverines, led her team in four of six races this fall and earned Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) All-Conference honors. Toedter was 14th at the MIAC Conference meet with a personal record time of 23:32.
Toedter led the Pipers to a 13th place finish in the 27-team regional meet. She finished 35th individually to earn all-region honors with a time of 23:34.
Toedter also competes for Hamline's track and field team.
