Theisen paces WDC golfers at Park Rapids Invitational with 101
Hope Theisen carded a 101 Monday as the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines placed eighth in the Park Rapids Invitational at the Headwaters.
Paige Hartman was two strokes off Theisen's pace while Amanda Kramer was seven. Kelsey Browne brought in a 117 while Sydney Schissel and Breanna Speed both fired a 119.
Staples-Motley's Emily Israelson claimed medalist honors with an 81.
Wolverines finish sixth
Amanda Kramer set the team pace with a 105 as the Wolverines claimed sixth in the 10-team Pelican Rapids Invitational Friday at Wildflower.
Ella Harrison brought in a 108 for the Wolverines while Paige Hartman shot a 112, Hope Theisen carded a 113, Breanna Speed fired a 116 and Sydney Schissel posted a 129.
Holly Karkela took medalist honors with an 87 as she led Perham to a winning 370 round.
The Wolverines had a team round of 438.
