SWAT team seizes Menahga man's guns, pot

A Menahga man is being held in the Wadena County Jail after authorities seized guns and marijuana he was allegedly holding, according to a report from the Wadena County Sheriff's Department.

On Friday, the Wadena/Hubbard County SWAT Team, Wadena County Sheriff's Office, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and Menahga Police Department executed a search warrant in Blueberry Township as part of an investigation regarding a felon in possession of firearms.

Stephen Charles Leritz, 45, of Menahga, was taken into custody as a result of the search warrant.

Firearms and numerous marijuana plants were found at the property where he was located.
