Steven Roger Hanebuth, 46, died in Verndale on Feb. 16, 2009.
He was born Aug. 8, 1962, to Roger and Joyce (Marsh) Hanebuth in Fergus Falls. He lived with his uncle Wally in Clear Lake and graduated from high school at St. Cloud Tech. He continued his education in heavy equipment at Staples Technical College. He was married to Diane Wipper in 1981 and they had two children, Nicole and Brandon Hanebuth. They were divorced. He later married Mari Costner and they were divorced.
Funeral services were held at the Johnson Memorial Home Chapel in Wadena with Kerry and Shirley Koestler presiding. Interment will be in the Inman Cemetery in the spring. Arrangements were with the Johnson Memorial Home in Wadena (www.johnsonmemorialhome.com).
Survivors include his children, Nicole of St. Cloud and Brandon of Foley; two grandchildren,; grandmothers, Audrey Marsh, and Mae Hanebuth; aunts and uncles; and many good friends, including Nolan and Ellen Bacon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Joyce; grandfathers, Harvey Marsh and Bernard Hanebuth; sister, Edwina (Felix) Cineros; and good friend Jeanie O'Conner.
