Sibert fundraiser will be April 4
A benefit for Patrick Sibert will be held Saturday, April 4 at Wadena Elks Lodge.
A ham dinner will be served for a free-will offering from 4-7:30 p.m., with a silent auction throughout and a live auction at 7:30 p.m.
Patrick is the son of Rick and Laura (Snyder) Uselman and Brett Sibert. The 14-year-old is in urgent need of a kidney transplant due to chronic kidney failure. Attempts to locate a donor within Patrick's family have been unsuccessful because of antibodies built up in his body. Those who want to find out if they're a possible match can call Cathy Garvey at the U of M Transplant Center at (800) 328-5465. She will ask for Patrick's full name and his date of birth, which is Feb. 24, 1994.
Funds raised will be used to help pay medical bills and locate a donor.
Monetary donations can be sent to First National Bank, Patrick Sibert Benefit, 25 Bryant Ave. SW, Wadena, MN 56482.
