Sex offender accused of skipping registration arrested for terroristic threats
A sex offender registered in Wadena County was charged in district court with failing to register. He was tracked down at a jail in Stearns County after he was arrested for making terroristic threats there.
Jeremiah Christopher Raper, 33, is required to register his place of residence and place of employment as conditions of his release as a sex offender. An investigator with the Wadena County Sheriff's Office learned Raper was allegedly no longer living at his Wadena County address, and also learned he had left a job with a trucking firm.
An attempt to locate Raper turned up his new location: the Stearns County Jail. He had been arrested by the Baxter Police Department for terroristic threats.
No court date has yet been set.
