Sebeka woman charged for alleged threats
Bond was set at $40,000 for a Sebeka woman who was charged in Wadena County District Court with terroristic threats and domestic assault.
Denise Marie Cooper, 41, allegedly got into an argument Sept. 20 with a woman who was living with her about not cleaning up. The woman told Cooper, who tested later at a blood alcohol content of 0.295, that she would clean up as soon as she finished a cigarette she was smoking, court document said. The woman told police that Cooper got down on the floor and started hitting herself in the head, saying, "Go on, hit me, hit me."
The woman told police Cooper then threatened to get a gun and shoot her "head off" if she called police. Cooper did have weapons in the home, court documents said.
Cooper was charged in court Sept. 22.
