Sebeka American Legion Auxiliary meets
Megan Lillquist attended the Sebeka American Legion Auxiliary meeting in September and gave a report on her experiences at Girls State. Megan, along with Jessica Lillquist, represented the Sebeka unit at the 65th session of Minnesota Girls State, held at Bethel University in Arden Hills. Jessica gave a report at the August meeting.
The auxiliary held memorial services for three deceased members: Phyllis Lehmkuhl, Frances Torma and Annette Ebert.
Plans for Super September Saturday in Sebeka, held on Sept. 17, were discussed. The auxiliary will be having a bake sale at the Legion Clubrooms from 8:30 to 12. In addition to the bake sale, the following vendors will be available to take orders: Avon, Celebrating Home, Cookie Lee Jewelry, Eniva, Pampered Chef, Scentsy, Stampin' Up, Tastefully Simple and Tupperware. All orders placed that day will be available for pick up on Oct. 15. If you have any questions, call Cathy at (218) 837-5252.
The auxiliary is looking ahead to fall and winter activities: American Education Week, Veterans Day, Santa's Secret Gift Shop and the Holiday Open House. The group asks that you keep our service men and women in your prayers.
