School crossings discussed at council meeting
During Tuesday's regular Wadena City Council meeting, Police Chief Bruce Uselman talked about getting adult volunteers to be crossing guards for the school.
Wolden said that he got a letter from MnDOT in Detroit Lakes saying the truck bypass for Minnesota Highway 29 was not approved, because kids were mostly crossing the residential streets rather than Highway 29 and it was no longer an issue.
Uselman said that 4th Street is the busiest for school crossings.
