The performance standard for adults entering employment was set at 85 percent. RMCEP attained a rate of 98 percent. Of adults who found jobs, 87 percent were still employed after nine months, exceeding the standard for employment retention of 82 percent.

The entered employment performance standard for dislocated workers, or worker who have been laid off, was also set at 85 percent. All of the dislocated workers who completed program services found jobs and 92 percent were still employed after nine months, exceeding the standard for employment retention of 90 percent.

These results were attained through a combination of services tailored to each individual, including career planning, occupational training, resume building and job search activities. These services were provided at the WorkForce Centers in Alexandria, Bemidji, Brainerd, Detroit Lakes, Fergus Falls, Little Falls, Moorhead and Wadena.

According to Dan Wenner, executive director of RMCEP, this incentive money will be used to further the delivery of employment and training services.
