Three suspects face second-degree burglary charges after allegedly breaking into the roller skating rink on U.S. Highway 71 North in Wadena and trying to bust open a vending machine.

According to the Wadena County Sheriff's Office, a call came in at 1:55 a.m. on Tuesday, May 4 of a burglary in progress at the roller rink.

A deputy and a Wadena police officer responded and found an unoccupied vehicle parked in the lot and an open door to the building. Inside, they allegedly found three men trying to use a tire iron to break open a pop machine.

According to authorities, Dillon Thomas Wutzke, 18, of Wadena, Joshua Cody Koljonen, 19, of Wadena and Eric Gregory Platzer, 18, of Verndale all admitted to burglarizing the rink and were taken into custody.
