Several prominent Republicans are speaking out on what agenda to pursue for the next election(s). It seems, according to the likes of Bobby Jindal and John McCain, that the party has to abandon some of its featured stances, which contributed to their losses in 2008 and in 2012.

Here is my recommendations list:

• Stop threatening Social Security and Medicare.

• Stop being the party of the wealthy.

• Stop trying to stifle women's rights.

• Stop listening exclusively to the Fox channel.

• Stop filibustering the Senate bills. Let them be discussed and noted on.

• Stop insisting on the sanctity of the bloated Pentagon budget.

• Reinstall the military draft and let any militarist administration face the wrath of the people over reckless, unnecessary wars.

• Stop trying to control voting rights by gerrymandering districts and interfering with voting access.

• Stop trying to privatize the public schools and the U.S. Postal Service.

• In short, outmaneuver the Democrats as the party of "middle class." Get rid of the "Tea Party" and move back from the extreme right.

The Democrats are just as "corporate owned" as the Republicans are, so work on the ideas that made many great Republican leaders enduring icons in American political history, such as Abe Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt and Dwight Eisenhower.
