Services will be held for Raymond Langer of Bluffton, Minn., on Saturday, April 6, at 1:30 p.m. at Perham Living Chapel in Perham with Fr. Donald Wagner officiating. He will be laid to rest in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery in Bluffton.
Raymond Paul Langer was born on Jan. 18, 1931 in Dazey, N.D., the ninth child of Paul and Katherine (Kunze) Langer. Ray moved with his family to Bluffton as a young boy. He attended school in Bluffton and Wadena. Ray served in the United States Army from Feb. 28, 1952 to April 15, 1953. He worked on road construction and later owned and operated Langer Excavating in Bluffton. Ray passed away at his home in Bluffton on April 2, 2013 at the age of 82.
Preceding Ray in death were his parents; infant sister, Agnes Langer; sisters, Emma Kupfer, Frances Cuddy and Rosella Mays; and brother, John Langer.
Raymond is survived by his sisters, Eleanor Eckstrom, Marion Bressi and Magdalene Wallgren; and many nieces and nephews.
