Out-hitting the Bulldogs was not enough Thursday as Steve Riewer's Raiders were flattened by an eight-run inning.

Walks were BHV's downfall for the second game in a row. After surrendering 12 free passes in Tuesday's loss to New York Mills, the Raiders allowed nine walks to OTC.

"Once again we played great early and then one bad inning took us out of contention," Riewer said. "If we can put together a complete game and avoid the one bad inning I still feel we can compete with most teams."

The Bulldogs were down 2-1 in the fifth when they slipped their leash. Steve Bradsteen's club capitalized on five walks, three hits and one hit batsman in their monster inning. Coming through with RBI doubles were Cole Eitzen and Alec Mattson.

Zane Lind and Marty Charest also supplied RBIs for the Bulldogs.

Dallas Ehrmantraut and Erick Blaha both collected two safeties for the Raiders.

Zach Torgerson went the distance to gain the mound win. Preston Riewer was hung with the loss.
