Raiders, Eagles slug it out
Tanner Wegscheid went 3-for-5 and drove in four runs as New York Mills rallied to shade Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale 16-14 Tuesday in a Park Region Conference slug fest.
The Eagles scored five times in the top of the seventh inning to erase a 12-11 deficit.
The Raiders were guilty of nine errors while the Eagles committed four.
"We did a lot of things well but we played just horrible defense," BHV skipper Steve Riewer said.
