Questions for Franken, Klobuchar
If Senator Franken and Senator Klobuchar had held town hall meetings, here are a few questions I would have liked to have asked them.
We have gone eight years with out an attack on American soil. Why are we trying to destroy the CIA, the very agency that kept us safe for those eight years? If President Obama is the chief law enforcement officer, why is Attorney General Eric Holder investigating the CIA, when the president said there would be no investigation?
Why has the president appointed so many czars? How much power do these czars have? Does the Senate have any control over these czars? Is it true that some of these czars have criminal records? Is it true that one of the czars is a communist?
President Obama has nominated Cass R. Sunstein to head the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs. Fifteen of the leading conservation groups have sent a letter to U.S. Senators asking them to oppose this nomination, because of his views on animal rights, hunting and agriculture. Sunstein has been quoted as saying he may want to ban hunting for recreational purposes.
Will you oppose this nomination? Since we are not going to be allowed to ask these questions at a town hall meeting, I guess we will probably never get an honest answer to them.
