Pirates tack up 71-50 win over Trojans

The Verndale Pirates went 21 of 26 at the foul stripe Tuesday in reeling off a 71-50 victory over Park Region Conference foe Sebeka.

Dallas Ehrmantraut was Verndale's top gunner with 26 points. Marcos Gomez popped in 12 points and Josh Gilb scored 11.

Derek Lillquist scored a dozen points for the Trojans, who received scoring from 11 players. The Trojans put up 29 3-point shots and connected on nine of them. They converted on 29 percent of their field goal shots.
