Photo of couple picture of love
When Hospice nurse Diane snapped a picture of Tony and Margaret Roggenkamp holding hands, she did not realize the impact it would have on the kids.
Tony passed away in April from complications of diabetes, just one month short of their 65th wedding anniversary. Daughter Doris Kosse, took the photo into a photo shop and had it made into a piece of art. She had the photo made into black and white, framed and matted.
Kosse states from the first time she saw the photo, she could feel her dad's presence when looking at the picture. She decided to have one made for each of her eight siblings and presented it to them on Thanksgiving Day. Kosse hopes this photo will help her siblings find closure.
