Wadena-Deer Creek High School senior Cody Waln, left, asks questions about the new high school building designs to Perkins+Will architects Steve Miller, middle, and James Howarth on Tuesday, Nov. 23 at the M-State cafeteria. Waln and students from Nancy Peterson's Marketing II class had several questions about the geothermal system, the green roof, climate-controlled building designs and other questions about the new school design. Earlier on Tuesday morning, Miller and Howarth spent an hour with ninth through 12th-grade students giving a presentation on four design ideas for the new high school.

Miller and Howarth also met with a core committee of teachers and staff after school on Tuesday. The architects discussed the four different concepts for a new high school, as well future designs with a K-12 concept.
