Pedestrian walks away after being hit by car in Sebeka
An 18-year-old man walked away OK after he was hit by a car in Sebeka.
According to the Wadena County Sheriff's Office, 18-year-old Shaun Peterson of Wadena ran into traffic on First Street Northwest, near the Sebeka school. He collided with a 2007 Chevrolet Impala driven by Kayla Puttonen, 25, of rural Sebeka.
Peterson's injuries were minor, the sheriff's office said, and he was not transported to the hospital. The accident happened around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 14.
The Wadena County Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by the Sebeka First Responders and Tri-County Ambulance.
