Pearl Lillian Frederick, 102, passed away April 2, 2010, at Green Pine Acres Nursing Home in Menahga.
Pearl was born May 13, 1907, to Clarence and Caroline (Plagman) Middaugh in Waseca, Minn. Pearl was united in marriage with Lloyd Kinney Frederick on Sept. 29, 1930, in Minneapolis. They made their home in Waseca from 1941 to 1944, and at Faribault from 1944 to 1950, settling later in Hewitt on their farm. She enjoyed all of the animals she cared for on the farm, along with entertaining and playing cards with family and friends. After Lloyd passed away on May 4, 1986, Pearl lived at Humphrey Manor in Wadena, and the last several years at Green Pine Acres Nursing Home in Menahga.
Funeral services were set for 11 a.m. on April 7 at the Johnson Memorial Home Chapel in Wadena, with the Rev. Paul Anderson presiding. Pallbearers are Alvin Finn, Wes Truax, Chuck Anderson, and Don McIntire. Interment was in Mount Nebo Cemetery in rural Hewitt. Interment is in Mount Nebo Cemetery in rural Hewitt. Survivors include her cousins, nieces and nephews.
Pearl was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, Clarence and Caroline; siblings, Donna, John, Bud, and Dick Middaugh.
