Paul David Cullifer Jr., 41, of Wadena, passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 28, 2009, near Royalton.
He was born Sept. 16, 1967, to Paul and Sandy Cullifer in Wadena. He lived his entire life in Wadena and was employed as a truck driver. His interests revolved around trucks and he especially enjoyed spending time with his children.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 2, in the Johnson Memorial Home Chapel in Wadena with the Rev. Shirley Nelson officiating. Honorary pallbearers were Harold Skov, Wayne Manselle, Greg Manselle, Amanda Cullifer, Mylisa Cullifer, Billy Brady and Jeff Veronen. Active pallbearers were Jerome Skov, Jim Klemek, Tom Matthiesen, Rick Stras, Mark Wynn, Brian Ament and Mike Burns. Interment will be in the Wadena Cemetery. Arrangements were with the Johnson Memorial Home in Wadena (www.johnsonmemorialhome.com).
Survivors include his mother, Sandra Cullifer of Wadena; daughters, Shelby and Jennifer Cullifer of Wadena; brothers, Terry (Lynda) Manselle of Kandiyohi, Minn., and Alan (Dawn) Cullifer, of Bemidji; nephews and nieces; the mother of his children, Dawn Stras; and special friend, Harold Skov.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul David Cullifer Sr.; grandparents, Frank and Marjorie Kramer, and Fredrick and Nellie Cullifer; and a great-nephew.
