The Patriots made nine of their treys in the first half as they built a commanding 40-20 lead.

"After playing a difficult first half we played a solid second half but just could not overcome the early deficit," WDC head coach Jason Mielke said.

While the Patriots saw nine players contribute to the scoring, WDC's Blake Connell was the hottest shooter on the court with 27 points. Both clubs shot the ball well from the field with the Wolverines canning 51 percent of their shots and the Pats averaging 53 percent. Brett Peterson and C.J. Borleis led the Pats with 15 points each. Hunter Larson tacked up 14 points.

The Pats held a 34-19 rebounding edge. Connell was joined by Dylan Dumpprope and Alex Redfield with four boards each.
