OTC deputy sheriff injured in crash
A deputy with the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Department was hurt when his squad car was hit by another car on the morning of Monday, March 14.
The deputy, who was not named in the report, was taken to Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls by ambulance, but the injuries were believed to be non-serious, the Minnesota State Patrol said.
The crash happened around 8 a.m. in the northwestern corner of Otter Tail County, at the intersection of Otter Tail County Roads 21 and 28. A vehicle driven by a 22-year-old Rothsay woman went through the intersection and hit the squad car, which then rolled. The woman was cited for failure to yield right of way and no seat belt.
