ONEOK Partners, LP donates to marching band

ONEOK Partners, LP, recently presented the Wadena-Deer Creek Education Foundation a check for $4,750 in support of a new marching band trailer, which was destroyed in the June 17, 2010 tornado. Viking Gas Transmission Company is a subsidiary of of ONEOK Partners, LP. Viking Gas provides service to the city of Wadena. The WDC Education Foundation and the WDC Marching Band program are thrilled and grateful to receive this donation from ONEOK Parnters, LP, said Lisa Weniger, WDC Marching Band Director. Weniger and Nelson hope to purchase a new trailer yet this school year. "We would like to thank Viking Gas for their generous contribution toward the band program in helping us purchase a new band trailer. Their generosity is greatly appreciated," said Weniger.
