One arrested in drug store break-in
One man was arrested Monday morning after allegedly breaking into a Clarissa drug store.
The Todd County Sheriff’s Office received a call of an intrusion alarm at Clarissa Drug at around 6:09 a.m., according to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office.
The release also said the Sheriff’s Office received a call from someone who allegedly witnessed a suspect leaving the drug store.
The Sheriff’s Office reported the suspect had shattered glass on the establishment’s front door, entered the business and stolen various prescription medications.
Shortly after responding to the scene, officers located Christopher Stone, 20, of rural Browerville in a nearby residence, the press release said, adding that Stone is currently being held at the Todd County Jail and is awaiting formal charges.
